I believe that perimenopause is a portal — a sacred threshold between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming. It’s not something to fix or fight, but an invitation to shed what no longer serves and step into a deeper version of ourselves.
Through the lens of Ayurveda, I see this time as pure permission. It reminds us that we’re not broken or in decline — we’re cyclical, ever-changing, and profoundly intelligent in our rhythms. When we learn to live in harmony with these natural tides, healing becomes less about control and more about remembering.
I also believe that rest is radical. True transformation happens when we stop striving and start listening — to our bodies, our breath, and the quiet wisdom within.
To me, radiance is every woman’s birthright. It doesn’t fade with age; it deepens, softens, and begins to glow from the inside out.
And perhaps most importantly, I know that sisterhood matters. We heal faster, laugh louder, and rise higher when we do it together — in shared stories, open hearts, and spaces where we’re reminded that we were never meant to walk this path alone.
a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic guide, mama of two wild-hearted boys, and founder of Marigold, a sanctuary for women navigating the sacred transition of perimenopause and midlife.
I’m almost 50, and I’ve been living and studying through the lens of yoga and Ayurveda for more than twenty years — not as abstract philosophy, but as a way of life. I’ve tested these teachings through early motherhood, burnout, creative rebirth, and now the initiation of perimenopause. They are the rhythm that holds me steady when life feels full, messy, or uncertain.
I believe perimenopause is not a crisis — it’s a rebirth. It’s the body’s invitation to slow down, to soften, and to shed what no longer serves. This season calls us to listen, to rest, and to honour our changing energy with reverence rather than resistance.
Through Marigold, I guide women home to themselves — helping them reconnect to their natural cycles, nourish their nervous systems, and rediscover a more radiant, grounded way of being. My work weaves Ayurvedic wisdom, yoga, and ritual with modern women’s wellness, making ancient practices accessible for real life — the kind that includes school lunches, ageing parents, and the occasional glass of wine.
I live off-grid on 300 acres on the Mid North Coast of NSW, in a vintage caravan named Margot. My mornings start with feeding the chooks, making chai, and lighting incense before sitting down to write, teach, or dream up new offerings. It’s imperfect and earthy and exactly how I love it.
When I’m not teaching, I’m probably in the ocean, tending to my garden, or planning another women’s pilgrimage through India.
I’m here for women who are ready to live midlife differently —
✨ Slower, softer, wiser.
✨ Grounded in self-trust.
✨ Lit from within.
Some Fun Facts About Yours Truly
I’ve been trying to surf for years — and I still can’t pop up, I just roll with it. As I approach 50, I’ve landed firmly in my zero-f*cks era — softer, freer, and more myself than ever.
I met my husband later in life — we were pregnant and married within six months, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My two boys and my husband are my everything — the centre of my world and the grounding force behind all I do.
I’ll happily introduce you to my chickens by name, and I get far too excited about growing our own fruit and veggies. I make a mean pot of kitchari, but I also love a glass of wine and a coffee with friends — because yes, even as an Ayurvedic guide, I’m still a modern woman who enjoys the good stuff.
I live in gumboots or Teva sandals, own about twenty pairs of Birkenstocks, and keep buying more tea than I’ll ever finish. I’m a girls’ girl to the core — my friendships mean everything to me — and I’m learning that softening is the real strength of midlife.
According to Ayurveda, I’m a Pitta–Kapha — fiery, nurturing, and built for transformation. As an Aries sun and a moon woman in Jyotish astrology, I’m guided by rhythm, ritual, and lunar light. I identify as a mermaid at heart — happiest with salt water in my hair, sand on my feet, and the ocean as my temple.
I could happily live out my days in India — surrounded by incense smoke, goddess chants, and the hum of devotion.

I’ve been immersed in the teachings of yoga and Ayurveda for over two decades, living and breathing these traditions as both a personal practice and a professional path. My journey has included training and study with some of the world’s most respected teachers and lineages.
I’m a Certified Yoga Teacher and an Ayurveda Wellness Coach trained under Katie Rose, and I hold certification as an Ayurvedic Nutritionist through My Vinyasa Practice School. My studies have also taken me deep into the realm of women’s health and perimenopause, through extensive trainings with Kate O’Donnell, as well as further studies with Hale Pule.
